History
Gobowen methodist chapel was built in 1874 according to the head stone and the schoolroom was added by members subscription in 1924 at the time when the hymn writer the Revd Green was the minister.
These days like other churches we are low in members - just 12 with an average attendance of 10/15.
services are held each sunday morning at 11.0.a.m., except when there is a fifth sunday in the month and then that sunday is a united village service held by rota in the Parish Church and the village URC church.
Every tuesday morning in our schoolroom we hold a village coffee morning from 9.30 until
12 noon with bring and buy stalls. This is supported by all villagers.
